MICKY FLANAGAN is stepping out-out of his comfort zone.
The comedian is planning to take a break from stand-up later this year to
write a sitcom.
Micky, currently on a tour of the UK, will spend the summer months plugging
away on his first script.
Speaking on my
show yesterday, he said: “I’m trying to write a sitcom but it’s hard
when the sun’s shining, isn’t it, doing anything.
“I’m having the summer off. Well, not off – I’ll probably do something with it.
“I’ll try to do four months or so and then in September we’re back doing the
arena section of the tour.
“We’re adding dates as and when people want to come.”
