ACTOR Rhys Ifans will not be charged after he was arrested for allegedly shoving a security guard.

Ifans, 43, star of Notting Hill and the new Spider-Man movie, was accused of pushing the female guard at the Comic-Com comic book convention in San Diego, California, last month.

The guard later made a citizen’s arrest.

But the local District Attorney’s office said there was “not sufficient evidence to prove the case”.
