MAXI LOPEZ was branded “ignorant” after his feud with Mauro Icardi
continued on Sunday night.
The Torino forward has been at odds with his former team-mate since Icardi
married his ex-wife Wanda Nara in 2014, tying the knot just months after she
had divorced Lopez.
The scorned South American refused to shake his ex-friend’s hand when they met
on the pitch prior to Sampdoria and Inter in 2014, leading to many dubbing
the clash the ‘Wanda derby’.

Tensions between them got even worse last June when Icardi tweeted a new arm
tattoo of the three children Wanda had with Maxi Lopez with the message: “I
love these three little angels.”
Lopez said at the time: “I can understand that being a public figure, he
publishes photos.
“But I’m not comfortable with my kids being in those photos. The kids are my
strength and they know I will do everything to protect them because they
mean everything to me.”

And the bitterness between the pair showed no signs of coming to an end when
their two club’s met at the San Siro.
Lopez again refused to shake Icardi’s hand, bypassing the Inter captain during
the pre-match handshake last night.
And it was all in front of the woman at the centre of the spat, with Wanda and
her four children – the three from Lopez and one from Icardi – sat watching
on from the stands.
That wasn’t all.

With Icardi having given his side the lead with a penalty, the 23-year-old
Argentine then slammed his rival during a half-time interview.
Speaking to Mediaset Premium, Icardi said: “Unfortunately, these things
happen, it depends on the ignorance of certain people.
“I gave my hand, I am polite.”
Lopez would have the last laugh, however, as he and his Torino team-mates came
back with two second half goals through Cristian Molinaro and Andrea Belotti
against nine-man Inter, who had Miranda and Yuto Nagtomo sent off, to claim
the points.
