LOUIS VAN GAAL said the only way Marouane Fellaini would not have reacted to
having his hair pulled is during “sex masochism” — before grabbing a fistful
of a reporter’s locks.
Robert Huth yanked at Marouane Fellaini’s afro while defending a first-half
corner, causing the big Belgian to violently
aim an elbow at the Foxes defender’s face — which thankfully
missed the target.
The incident was not seen by referee Michael Oliver, meaning Fellaini is
likely to be hit with a retrospective ban.
A suspension for the midfielder would be damaging for Manchester
United’s target of qualifying for the Champions League — something which
LVG’s Old Trafford future could hinge on.
In his post-match interview, an animated LVG said: “When you see what Huth is
doing to Fellaini, that’s a penalty.
“Shall I grab you by your hair? What is your reaction when I grab your hair?”
The Dutchman amazingly proceeded to grab the Sky Sports journalist’s hair in a
literal demonstration.
And the United boss bizarrely claimed Fellaini could only have enjoyed having
his hair pulled if he was partaking in “sex masochism”.
He added: “Your hair is shorter than Fellaini but when I do that, what are you
doing then? It’s a reaction.
“Every human being who is grabbed by the hair — only with sex masochism, then
it is allowed — but not in other situations. They did it. They did it
several times I think.
“Huth was the guy who grabbed the hair of Fellaini. I think the reaction of
Fellaini is like a human being. He is always like that.”
Van Gaal maintained if Fellaini gets a ban then Huth should as well. He added:
“I don’t think what he is doing is normal.”
Anthony Martial opened the scoring for United with an instinctive first-time
finish.
But the France international’s goal was cancelled out when Danny Drinkwater
delivered a brilliant free-kick into the box which captain Wes Morgan —
after ditching Marcos Rojo — headed in.
Drinkwater is facing a ban for the final two games after appearing to swear at
Oliver when he was sent off.
Team-mate Jamie Vardy’s punishment for dismissal against West Ham was
increased over his reaction to official Jon Moss.

Tottenham
can still win Premier League after Leicester’s draw at Manchester United…
and here’s how
United must pray fourth-placed Manchester City slip up in their remaining
league matches and fail in their mission to win the Champions League to have
any chance of playing in Europe’s top-tier tournament next term.
LVG said: “I think we played one of our best matches of the season, but it was
not enough.
“We are still in the [top four] race because Manchester
City still have to play Southampton
away.”
An Old Trafford win for Leicester
would have seen them crowned Premier League champions.
But they will be celebrating on Monday night if Tottenham
do not beat Chelsea
at Stamford Bridge.
Spurs can only win the Prem now if they win against the Blues, Southampton and
relegation-scrappers Newcastle.
