CELTIC have confirmed Norwegian midfielder Kristoffer Ajer will join the club
in June on a four year contract on a free.
The 17-year-old, who plays for FK Start, arrived in Glasgow last week to
undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
He spent a week on trial at Lennoxtown in January, impressing manager and enough for him to recommend that the player be offered a
long-term deal.

The Norway youth international spent a week on trial with Celtic last month
and has now been offered a contract.
He said: “It is huge for me. It’s a big dream I’ve worked for all my life and
now it has come true.
“I’m really happy. I enjoyed it last time. It is amazingly big for me.”
Last season, Ajer became the youngest player to captain a side in the
Norwegian league when he led Start against Lillestrom in April last year at
only 16-years-old.
Start finished third bottom of the Norwegian top flight in 2015 but won their
promotion play-off final against Jerv.
Ajer has been chased by several top European clubs and is regarded as one of
Norway’s top prospects.
He is comfortable playing in central midfield or central defence.
