BRITISH UFC star-turned-commentator Dan Hardy is itching to get back in the Octagon and he knows just the man he’d love to face in his Octagon return.
There’s been a simmering tension between Hardy and American Josh Koscheck for years, but despite fighting in the same weight class, the pair have never met inside the Octagon.
Hardy has been out of action for two years since being diagnosed with heart condition Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
But the Brit known as ‘The Outlaw’ is keen to get back into the Octagon for two more fights before finally calling time on his fighting career in the UFC.
And Hardy, who is now the UFC’s established co-commentator and analyst for events held in Europe, Middle East and Africa, told fans in Dublin that he’d love to jump back into active competition against ‘Kos’, who rose to stardom in the original season of The Ultimate Fighter.
“I’ll fight Koscheck at anything!” he declared.
“Under any rules, any game, any sport, anywhere, anyhow, I don’t mind.
“I’ve never seen eye to eye with that guy. I’d love to fight Koscheck.”
