Four men arrested over Claudia Lawrence murder will not be charged

Cops are treating her disappearance as murder despite no body ever being found

FOUR men arrested on suspicion of killing Claudia Lawrence will not be
charged.

The men, who are all in their 50s, were arrested
in March and April last year in connection with the death of the missing
chef.

They were released on police bail while investigations took place.

The Crown Prosecution Service has now decided against pressing charges after
reviewing evidence files passed to the organisation by North Yorkshire
Police.

Claudia, who worked as a chef at the University of York, went missing in March
2009.

She last spoke to her parents by phone on 18 March 2009, but colleagues raised
 the alarm after she failed to turn up to work the next day.

North Yorkshire Police is treating her disappearance as murder despite no body
ever being found.
