IF you’re worried you’re going to get charged for carrying extra baggage when
you’re travelling, just follow this ingenious guy to avoid paying those
fees.
Matt Botten, from Cardiff, decided to wear his luggage after being told he
would have to pay £45 to check in an extra bag for his flight to Reykjavik,
Iceland.
Instead of paying easyJet’s excess charge, he emptied his bag on the spot and
put on all of his clothes including extra t-shirts, jumpers, trousers and
even squeezed his trainers in his pockets.
The 32-year-old, who left security puzzled by the amount of layers of clothes
he wore, was travelling with his girlfriend Abigail White, 31, from Gatwick
Airport.

Proud Matt wrote on Facebook: “We’re going to Iceland baby! And how to do
it in a financially frugal manner, without having to stump up forty five
bloody quid for a hold bag? Simply by wearing EVERYTHING I OWN.”
If you decide to follow the same path, you should do it with caution.
Last year, boyband
singer James McElvar from Rewing collapsed from heat exhaustion after
wearing all of his clothes to avoid the excess luggage fee on a flight to
Glasgow.
