Before and after: ‘Too much botox’ Amanda Holden and other celebs who have taken cosmetic surgery too far

We take a look at the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s new face and a few other celebs who have fallen victim to excessive cosmetic procedures

IN its triumphant return on Saturday, Britain’s Got Talent showcased some
of our greatest unsung entertainers – including whoever messes around with
Amanda Holden’s face.

Her bizarrely over-sculpted look caused a Twitter frenzy and makes her an
apparent victim of the “Too Far Face”, a term for those who no longer look
remotely natural.

The show judge, 45, is now a far cry from the rosy-cheeked, mousey
girl-next-door who joined the ITV series in 2007.

This is despite Amanda insisting she that she stopped having Botox back in
2012, and that has never had any other cosmetic work.

But stars are notoriously prone to going overboard. Cosmetic surgeon Dr
Michael Prager said: “Celebrities can request too much work and their
doctors can’t say no.

“That’s why stars tend to fall victim to the Too Far Face more than most. But
it doesn’t make them look younger, just weirder.”

Here we round up more Too Far Faces.

One Twitter user joked: “If Amanda Holden’s face gets any tighter you could
run a bow across it and play a tune.”

The mum of two admits she used to be a Botox fan but insists she gave up jabs
in early 2012.

She explained later: “For the last three years I haven’t bothered with Botox
and have instead been having collagen wave facials. It’s done amazing things
to my face.”

Her old, very natural look has certainly been replaced by a supersmooth face
that bounces light away like a mirror.

Amanda also credits “yoga and a bit of running” for the changes,

But her unusually smooth forehead and exaggerated nose-to-mouth lines could be
down to too much filler, according to cosmetic surgeon Dr Prager.

undergone corrective surgery or has allowed the fillers to dissipate.”

The Friends actress’s unusually full face may be due to fillers to prevent her

very trim and I’d say her face could suffer if she didn’t use fillers.”
