SIR Bruce Forsyth is reportedly too ill to attend Ronnie Corbett’s funeral
next week.
A funeral for the legendary entertainer, who passed
away earlier this month at the age of 85, will be held for close family
and friends on Monday in Surrey.
Despite working with Ronnie on numerous occasions during their heyday, Bruce,
88, is thought to be too frail to travel following much-needed surgery after
a serious fall at his home last year.
According to his manager Ian Wilson, Bruce is around two or three weeks away
from being well enough to leave his home and return to normal.
Discussing the possibility of the star making an appearance, Ian said
yesterday: “If he asked my advice I’d tell him not to go to the funeral.”

Shortly after Ronnie’s passing Bruce appeared on The One Show to pay tribute
to his close pal.
He said: “Firstly, I have to say this is one of the saddest days of my
life. Things have been going through my mind all day. When you know somebody
so well, it’s very difficult not to keep thinking about him.”
It won’t be the first time Bruce’s illness has forced him to miss out.
He had to back out of last year’s Strictly Come Dancing’s Christmas special following
the heart-related surgery which was needed to treat an abdominal aortic
aneurysm.
