GEORDIE Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed ex-boyfriend Kyle Christie’s
dramatic hair transplant was the ‘most traumatic experience ever’.
She said she didn’t think there was anything wrong with her former flame’s
bonce as he wasn’t losing his hair but admitted he was “really conscious”
about it.
The 23-year-old, who is the new face of online retailer , confessed the Geordie Shore lads often face backlash from
viewers about their appearance which may have encouraged him to put himself
through the bloody procedure.
She explained: “The lads will always get people saying stuff as well as
the girls.
“I think everyone thinks because they’re boys that they’re kind of used
to it.
“We’ll get the fat jibes, all the boys are in pretty good shape, but they
obviously do get things said to them and they probably would take that on
board.
“With Kyle especially, Kyle was never losing his hair I don’t think, not
that I was aware of.
“But his natural hair-line wasn’t great in the first place so that’s the
reason he wanted to change it.”
The couple split while filming the latest series of the MTV reality show back
in November, but Holly said they remain friends.
She told how she was with Kyle when he went for his initial consultations for
his transplant and found out how it went through his mum.

transplant
Holly said: “I spoke to his mam and she said, ‘Oh my God it was the most
traumatic experience ever’, because you’re awake for the whole thing and
obviously they’re implanting each follicle in.
“It’s something I’d never want to have to go through!”
Holly defended his decision to go ahead with it, pointing out it’s the same as
girls “wanting to go out and get boob jobs”.
She said: “It’s something he’s really wanted to have done.
“Obviously it’s not as common for a lad to go out and get cosmetic procedures
but it’s something he was really conscious about, even though I didn’t think
there was any problem with it he went ahead and did it.
“Being in the limelight does carry a certain pressure but it can get to a
point where you realise you’ve got to do things for yourself and not for
anybody else which I think he’s done.”
Having recently partnered with the fashion brand Holly worked closely with
Want That Trend owner Victoria Molyneux to develop her first stand-out
collection.
She explained: “I’ve had clothing ranges in the past and I’ve never been able
to be as hands on as I’ve wanted to be.
“But with this I’ve been allowed to have a say on everything, from fabric to
cuts and lengths and everything like that.
“I felt like I was so involved that I was actually really proud of it.”
Holly admitted she was dubious at first as the brand traditionally sells
garments very different to her sense of style – tight jumpsuits and bodycon
frocks.
She said: “They’ve made a really successful business already by doing what
they do, which is usually floral-type dresses and not my style whatsoever.
“So when I saw everything I was like, ‘Oh my God that is definitely not my
kind of thing!’
“I was a bit scared, but they said they wanted it to be completely different.
“They’re great to work with, dead down-to-earth, and everything that I’ve said
they’ve listened to and taken it on board.
“The jumpsuits are absolutely gorgeous and the dresses are perfect for a night
on the town.
“I think it’s important to be comfortable in what you wear as well as feeling
glam, and that’s exactly what this range offers.”
