THE Beyhive are still reeling from the Beyonce’s Jay Z cheating revelations in
her new album Lemonade – but new reports suggest the power couple have put
the drama behind them.
Sources close to the Carter-Knowles camp say that while the pair did go
through a “rocky patch”, their marriage is now stronger than ever.
Three of the tracks on her sixth studio album deal with infidelity, and
rumours have been swirling for days that Jay Z has been straying away from
home.
A source told :
“They definitely went through a rough patch a couple years ago, but
they came out stronger in the end.”
Rumours that the pair – who are parents to Blue Ivy, four – were heading for
divorce peaked in 2014 when a video emerged of Beyonce’s sister Solange
attacking Jay Z in a lift at the after party of the Met Ball in New York.
However, they reportedly renewed their vows that summer after touring
together.
The source added: “I think they almost wanted to prove to everyone that
they wouldn’t break up.”

Is
designer Rachel Roy the woman who could tear apart Beyonce and Jay Z?
Meanwhile, those close to the star have also revealed that ‘Becky with the
good hair’ is not just one girl but a reference to all the women Jay Z
cheated with early on in their relationship.
A source told : “I don’t think Beyoncé is calling out one girl. It is many girls.
The rumours have been around for years.”
The insider believes things changed when Blue Ivy was born in 2012.
They said: “Beyoncé had the baby and was like, ‘What am I doing? This is what
my dad did to my mom.’
“She really looked at herself. Jay is now a great husband, and this is in
the past.
“They went through a rocky patch but things are good again. The video is
about finally coming to terms with her strength and their love.”
Her ‘BeyHive’ of followers are still trying to figure out who ‘Becky’ is after
singer Rita Ora and designer Rachel Roy have both denied it was them.
Roy inserted herself into the controversy after sharing a snap of Instagram
that seemed to identify herself as ‘Becky’.
However, she has since released a statement saying the post was “meant to
be fun and lighthearted” and that “there is no truth to the rumours”.
Black Widow singer Rita Ora also denied she was the other woman saying the
rumours were “false” and she has “nothing but the utmost
respect for Beyonce”.
American chat show host Wendy Williams said on Monday she believes
the pair created the controversy to boost album sales and a source told that they craft characters like with Bonnie and Clyde in 2002.
They said: “They develop these storylines to sell albums. Lemonade is a
movie crafted to drive sales.
“Jay and Beyoncé are entertainers at the top of their game. Do you think
Jay would release her album on [his own] Tidal if it really was all about
him? He is 100 percent behind this.”
Another insider added: “They’re marketing masters. They’re pros at this. The
more attention, the more they sell, the better.
“All that speculation is to get press when they need it. Lemonade is much
deeper than infidelity, but that’s the focus. As long as people are talking,
they don’t care.”
The pair have yet to comment but rumours are abound that they’ll put up a
united front at her Formation World Tour date in Miami tonight.
