HEARTBROKEN Jennifer Garner has revealed ‘love of her life’ Ben Affleck DID
cheat on her with their nanny.
The actress laid her cards on the table about what she calls the “bad
judgement” by the Argo director after he hooked up with blonde
Christine Ouzounian last year.
Yet the brunette stressed they were going to split anyway – with or without
‘nannygate’.
Jennifer said Christine, 28, “was not a part of the equation” when she and her
now estranged hubby decided to divorce just weeks before they were due to
celebrate their milestone 10-year anniversary together.
Pouring her heart out during an interview with Vanity Fair Jennifer said: “We
had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had
nothing to with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation.”
She added: “People have pain — they do regrettable things, they feel
shame, and shame equals pain. No one needs to hate him for me. I don’t hate
him. Certainly we don’t have to beat the guy up.
“Don’t worry – my eyes were wide open during the marriage. I’m taking
good care of myself.”
Christine was allegedly sacked after the scandal though Ben denied he was a
cheat.
The Alias actress said she needed to explain the meaning of ‘scandal’ to
children Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and youngest four-year-old Sam in the
aftermath of Ben’s dirty deed.
It had also caused upheaval for the youngsters after the familiar face of
Christine then disappeared from their lives.

Jennifer, 43, added that the media frenzy over the rumours had been a struggle
to deal with.
She revealed she had made a ‘silent oath’ with herself to steer clear of the
scandal by staying away from the internet and ‘unplugging’ herself from
coverage of the situation.
She said: “Choosing to not ‘give a s***’ how the divorce looks to the
outside world. I cannot be driven by the optics of this.
“I cannot let anger or hurt be my engine. I need to move with the big
picture always on my mind, and the kids first and foremost.”

The beauty posed for a cover-photo to accompany the candid chat wearing a cute
blue and white dress with a plunging neckline.
With fresh-faced make up and a beaming smile, the star sizzled on the front
page amid rumours she is now dating Grey’s Anatomy hunk Patrick Dempsey.
Jen reportedly went on a couple of dates with Patrick, 49, in December,
including one which lasted an entire weekend.
The insider told Ok: “They’ve been friends for years…it was only
natural for them to confide in each other.
“As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them.
Jen was relieved – and excited.”
