Paedo Stuart Hall’s wife dumps him after being married for 58 years

EXCLUSIVE: Hazel initially stood by him when he was jailed for abusing young girls

BBC paedo Stuart Hall has been dumped by his wife after 58 years.

Hall, 86, is said to be “devastated”. Hazel, 77, initially stood by him when he was jailed in 2013 for abusing a string of young girls.

The former It’s A Knockout host is living in a bail hostel in Oldham.

Hazel is believed to be 200 miles away at their daughter Francesca’s home in north London.

A source said: “She only recently told him it is over.

“It will be tough for him to be on his own.”

Hazel, who also has a son Daniel with Hall, is selling the marital home in Wilmslow, Cheshire to developers for £995,000.

A relative told The Sun on Sunday: “She didn’t end up with much option other than to walk away.

“He treated her so badly over the years. Once he was locked up, it was the final nail in the coffin.”

The Sun pictured unrepentant Hall on Thursday walking arm-in-arm with a mystery woman. He moaned that he had gone to from a “national treasure” to the “bottom of the pond”.

His original sentence was increased to five years after more indecent assaults came to light. One victim was nine.

Hall was released on a tag in December.

The relative said: “Initially Hazel wanted to stick by him.

“But once his jail term increased, she got used to being without him and decided it was for the best.”

Four victims were fondled at Hall’s home while having speech lessons and a fifth had been invited to use his swimming pool.

The four-bedroom house – dubbed “paedo palace” by locals – went on the market when he was first jailed.

It was valued at £1.2million but only sold after the price was repeatedly cut.

A woman who answered the door at daughter Francesca’s home yesterday said: “No comment. We have been through enough.”
