CHARLIE Dimmock has certainly changed since her days on Ground Force.
The 49-year-old became one of the most recognisable faces on television during
the height of the gardening show’s popularity, but she’s undergone a
dramatic transformation since the much-loved series came to an end in 2005.
The former BBC star stepped out this week to launch a new gardening range for
Poundlound without her former co-stars Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh by
her side.
Sporting a fuller figure and dressing down with just a blue blouse and a pair
of jeans, Charlie couldn’t hide her excitement about being back in the
spotlight for a day.
The former telly star was famed for refusing to wear a bra on the show, and
she revealed recently that she doesn’t think people will ever let her forget
it.

She said: “People still comment on it to me. Some of them are male fans,
some of them are female.”
Adding: “It is sometimes just more comfortable not having a bra on. I
didn’t plan it.”
Charlie has appeared on screens from time to time since Ground Force was axed.
In 2006 she took part in BBC show Celebrity Masterchef and then in 2011 she
joined ITV Daybreak as the breakfast show’s gardening expert.
