MAN Utd’s Marcos Rojo can today be named as the Premier League ace who cheated
with a blonde gym instructor.
Rojo, 25, lost a legal battle to keep his romp with Sarah Watson, 34, secret
from his long-term partner.
The Manchester United defender was left with a six-figure legal bill after his
lawyers falsely claimed Sarah tried to blackmail him after their tryst.
The Argentina defender admitted Sarah performed a sex act on him — as four
other stars tried to watch.
Rojo — who has a long-term partner and a daughter aged two — then pestered
her for sex for a month.
He bombarded gym instructor Sarah with snaps of his manhood and videos of him
performing sex acts.
But when she refused to deal with his associates it was falsely alleged she
asked for £100,000 to keep quiet.
According to a damning court judgment, a mystery pal of the player — known as
“Mr X” — summoned her and said “What do you want? Money is no object” before
whispering suggestively “£100,000”.
At the meeting in February, he said the hush-money would be paid in cash and
brought into the UK by “men from another country”.
But the following day Sarah sent Mr X a text message saying: “Don’t contact me
again with any more offers I’m not interested.”
Less than 24 hours later £100,000-a-week Rojo was granted a High Court
injunction after he claimed she had tried to blackmail him.
There is no suggestion there was any substance to this allegation.
Rojo’s claim was thrown out at a hearing late last month.
Mr Justice Warby ruled there was a strong probability that the player and his
associates had tried to buy off Sarah for “commercial motives” and to keep
his infidelity from his lingerie model partner Eugenia Lusardo, 22, and
their child.
He said there was no reason for the identity of the footballer — who has “For
my family” tattooed on his chest — to be kept secret.
He ordered him to pay Sarah’s legal costs — estimated at £50,000.
Mr Justice Warby added it was “remarkable” that Rojo had not bothered to make
a witness statement.
He also blasted the player for withholding evidence by not telling the judge
who granted the injunction full details of conversations and mobile messages
between Sarah and Mr X.
Rojo met Sarah as he and teammates attended a Christmas party at a bar in
Manchester on December 15.
When the bash ended, Rojo invited Sarah to Mr X’s flat in the city.
In her witness statement, she said Rojo “behaved like a single man out on the
town” and didn’t say he was in a long-term relationship.
Once at the flat, Manchester City fan Sarah performed a sex act on Rojo but
their intimacy was repeatedly interrupted by four other players.
Last night Sarah said: “I’m a bit of an exhibitionist, so I just whipped the
dress open.
“He was putting his hands all over me. He was very passionate — and very rude.
He’s very experienced for a 24-year-old — and very well-endowed.”
She added: “He could have any 19-year-old pretty thing but obviously he likes
a proper woman who’s more experienced in the bedroom.”
Rojo won a temporary injunction which banned us from naming him or Sarah or
publishing any pictures.
He has kept up the pretence of his family man image on his Instagram and
Twitter accounts.
Rojo, who lives in Hale, Cheshire, now faces a possible club fine too.
In October married United midfielder Antonio Valencia, 29, was caught
sex-texting two women.
And in February we told how United officials were probing claims one unnamed
player was filmed as a woman performed a sex act on him in a nightclub
toilet.
