Oops… iBend

FURIOUS Apple fans have slammed the new iPhone claiming it “bends”.

Owners of the iPhone 6 – which costs £619 – have posted snaps on social media
of their handsets appearing to warp after a few days in their pockets.

It is thought the thinner model and the use of aluminium in its design causes
the phone’s bending – dubbed “BendGate”.

One forum user Hanzoh said his iPhone 6 was “slightly bent” and
questioned if the design was “too thin”.

He added: “The 6 Plus was about 18 hours in my pocket while sitting
mostly.

“As I lay it on the coffee table and sat down on the couch to relax from
the drive, I saw the reflection of the window in the iPhones slightly
distorted. Now I lay it flat with the display side on the table, take a look.”

Twitter user Phil Hogan joked: “I have an iphone 6 for sale if anyone is
interested. Only a slight scratch, and a 20 degree bend #bendgate”.

And Simon Cousins said: “So jealous none of my Androids have magical
bendability. Guess they were too cheap. 🙂 #bendgate”

In all fairness, anyone who puts a gadget made of aluminium in their back pocket and sits down deserves for it to bend.
