A TOP radio presenter has blasted his BBC employers as CLUELESS in a series of lengthy on-air rants.
Bernie Keith — the highest paid BBC Local presenter outside London on £70,000 — said he would punch bosses if they came in the studio.
The BBC Radio Northampton presenter, 50, said: “I’m beginning to see how you got into a pickle over sex abuse claims — they haven’t a clue what they’re doing.”
In another tirade, he said: “Welcome to BBC management medical — let me shine the light through your ear. Oh good, it comes out the other side — perfect, you’ve got the job.”
The Beeb has refused to take action.
A spokesman said last night: “Bernie Keith has a humorous and edgy presenting style which is popular with audiences.”
