‘Happily married’ Mel B admits lesbian affair

MEL B has opened up about her lesbian romance and admitted that women still
catch her eye – despite being “happily married to penis”.

The X Factor judge confirmed her relationship with Christa Parker, but denied
that she is an open relationship with husband Stephen Belafonte. The rumour
emerged after Playboy model Luann Lee told The Sun on Sunday that she got
passionate with Mel in a disabled toilet.

In an interview Mel revealed: “I did have a four-year relationship with a
woman. But I’ve been very happily married for seven years to a penis.

“I’ve definitely not been shy or been one to hold back. If I wanted to
try something, I did. I had a girlfriend. So what?

“Me and my husband are very tight and solid. But I will be the first one
to compliment a woman, to say to my husband, ‘Oh my God, look at her legs’;
or ‘Doesn’t she look stunning?’ I do think women are gorgeous. Crazy but
gorgeous.”

Mel added that she and Stephen don’t have sex five times a day as she
previously claimed – just every other day.

She revealed: “There’s a rule in our house: you don’t just walk into the
bedroom, you knock on the door first, out of respect. My mum and dad taught
me that.”

The former Spice Girl also spoke about her relationship with Eddie Murphy,
revealing that she had a breakdown after being called a “gold digger”
when she fell pregnant with their child, Angel, 7.

She said: “It really tore me up, because I didn’t want to blab my side of
the story, and I haven’t and I still won’t, out of respect for Angel and out
of respect I still have for him.

“When negativity just doesn’t stop no matter which way you turn, it will
at some point wear you down. You just think, ‘Oh my God, give me a break.’
And being pregnant, you’re emotional anyway. And I was by myself.”

Mel confirmed that she has a healthy relationship with Eddie now and they “have
dinners together” in Los Angeles.

She said: “He’s a legend.”
