NINETIES star Abz Love from boyband 5ive is selling his Brit Award on eBay so he can buy some new garden tools.
After placing the prize on the online auction site for 99p on Sunday, it has since received 66 bids, with the current price at £5,351.
Abz, 36, and his bandmates beat Geri Halliwell, Steps and S Club 7 in 2000 to win the Brit for Best Pop Act.
In the listing’s description, the singer-turned-farmer explains that he needs the money to escape “poverty” and in order to “fund a delivery of topsoil and maybe some garden tools”.
The CBB star tempts potential buyers by revealing that the trophy “has been held by Jason Statham” before adding: “although I cannot prove this”.
The intro states: “You are viewing one real deal Brit award for newcomer best pop act 2000 awarded to Abs ex Five rapper, star of hit BBC2 show ‘Abz on the Farm’, Big Reunion and runner up CBB12.
“No more awkward silences when people come over to your house!! This is a real conversation piece even if you didn’t win it! Guaranteed 100% real.
“Take advantage of my poverty and grab this rare opportunity to own a bit of pop history!!”
Abz – real name Richard Abidin Breen – shot to fame in 1997 when Simon Cowell put together boy band 5ive and made him the lead singer.
The group went on to have international success and sold over 20 million records before splitting up.
They reunited without original member J Brown for ITV2 reality series The Big Reunion in 2013 before Abz left the band in August 2014.
He now fronts a BBC Two reality show, called Country Strife: Abz on the Farm, set on his smallholding in Wales.
