OUTNUMBERED star Tyger Drew-Honey is filming a BBC series about the sex
industry starring his porn star DAD.
The 17-year-old — also a regular on kids channel CBBC — has taken the
controversial career move ahead of the hit family comedy ending this year
after five series.
Eye of the Tyger aims to turn him into the “new Louis Theroux”.
And dad Lindsay Honey — known in the porn industry as Ben Dover who starred in
X-rated movies including Ben Dover in London — has signed up for the BBC3
documentary.
Lindsay, 57, said: “Tyger’s doing one programme on young people and
pornography so I was interviewed by my son which was a bit weird. It is
about how youngsters perceive pornography.
“Obviously producers thought if any young person is going to do a documentary
about the sex industry then it has to be Tyger because his parents were
involved in it.”
Lindsay admitted Tyger was not previously aware of his work. He added: “I know
he gets ribbed about what I do but he is totally grounded.”
Mum Linzi Drew is also a former porn star and ex-Penthouse editor.
In 1993 she published Try Everything Once Except Incest and Morris Dancing:
The Intimate Autobiography of a Dangerous Lady. She and Lindsay are
separated.
Tyger, who wants to develop his presenting career, plays Jake Brockman in
BBC1’s family-friendly Outnumbered. It also stars Hugh Dennis and Claire
Skinner.
A source revealed: “It will be odd for viewers to see the lovely son they
watched grow up talking about the sex industry.”
