Mick Jagger flies to Caribbean island to mourn L’Wren

MICK Jagger has flown to a private Caribbean island following the death of
girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

The Rolling Stones frontman, 70, flew to his holiday home in Mustique – where
he and L’Wren spent their last Christmas together – on Sunday.

The rocker and his fashion designer girlfriend regularly visited the island,
which is famous for its high-end residents.

The pair was said to be blissfully happy last Christmas as they partied with
close friends and family at the property.

L’Wren, 49, was found
dead in her New York apartment last month after committing suicide
.

She was laid to rest in
Hollywood Forever cemetery last Tuesday
.

A source said: “Mick just wants to get away from everyone and everything
and Mustique is the perfect place for that. It’s a private island –
somewhere he can just escape from the world.”

Jagger cancelled the Rolling Stones’ tour of Australia and is expected
to take another month off before returning to the stage
in Oslo, Norway,
on May 26.

Mustique is a popular destination for celebrities including Kate Moss, David
Bowie, Liam Gallagher, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
