Sandra Bullock becomes a mum again at 51 after adopting 3-year-old girl

SANDRA Bullock has confirmed that she has adopted a second child.

The Oscar-winning actress, 51, revealed her joy at becoming a mother to
daughter Laila following reports that surfaced in September.

Sandra posed with three year old Laila and son Louis, five, who she adopted in
2010, on the front cover of US mag People.

But the very private star wouldn’t let her little girl face the camera in the
publication’s main image, which was shot by her photographer boyfriend Bryan
Randall, 49.

Sandra said: “My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and
understanding. That’s a family.”

The Gravity actress began the process to adopt Laila three years ago.

She said: “Louis spearheaded this whole journey. I knew she was scared,
and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere.”

Sandra adopted Laila from Louisiana, the same state where she found New
Orleans-born Louis, after she had been in foster care.

She said: “When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was
supposed to be here.

“I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the
exact right time.”

Sandra adopted Louis shortly after her separation from ex husband Jesse James,
46.

The couple began the adoption process together four years earlier and welcomed
Louis into their home in January 2010.

But Sandra only went public with the news that April, the same month she
announced her divorce from reality star Jesse after he cheated.
