A TEENAGER poses with rare animals she slaughtered in photos that have sparked
outrage.
Kendall Jones boasts on Facebook and Twitter about killing prey including a
lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.
The cheerleader, 19, from Cleburne, Texas, is thought to be the youngest
person to have shot the so-called Big Five African beasts.
In the pictures Jones can be seen crouching over the body of an Addax antelope
– a protected species after being listed as critically endangered by the
World Wildlife Fund.
Jones boasted online: “Shot 6 of the dangerous 7 at the age of 14!”
Thousands want Facebook to kick her off the site, and South Africans called
for her to be banned from the country.
A web page called ‘Keep avid hunter Kendall Jones out of South Africa’
received more than 219,000 Facebook Likes within hours of being set up.
Michael Powell tweeted: “serial killer i hope shes proud of herself no one
else is.”
Katherine Brice posted: “Take your gun away and you’d lose. Coward!”
But Kendall told followers: “All the negative comments have helped me get 600
new likes in 48 hours. Way to go!”
