The Jump 2016: Sarah Harding forced to leave the competition with knee injury

The former Girls Aloud star is the SIXTH to withdraw from the show

SARAH Harding has been forced to withdraw from The Jump just days before the
semi-final after injuring her knee.

The former Girls Aloud singer, 34, had so far avoided sustaining any serious
injuries but has now crashed out of the competition after hurting her knee
while skiing.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: “Sarah Harding has withdrawn from the
competition on medical advice after pulling a ligament in her knee during
training yesterday.”

After falling during training she was rushed to hospital and informed she had
pulled a ligament.

Doctors have now ordered her to rest for the next four weeks and undergo
physiotherapy, meaning she will miss Sunday’s episode and the final the
following week.

The representative added to Digital Spy: “She has been advised by medics
to rest and will undergo physiotherapy. Sarah has been a great competitor
and we wish her a speedy recovery.”

She is the sixth celebrity to be forced out of the competition with injury,
following Tina Hobley, Rebecca Adlington, Beth Tweddle, Mark-Francis
Vandelli, Linford Christie and Joe Swash.

Ben Cohen has injured his face, but vowed to continue.

Olympic gymnast Beth sustained
the worst injuries
after an accident on the ski jump left her with
fractured vertebrae.

She underwent surgery to fuse the bones back together and spent
a total of 10 days in hospital
following the terrifying incident.
