Michelle Visage plans UK series of Drag Race

She wants CBB pal Katie Price for female impersator show

CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Michelle Visage is planning to bring her US show Ru
Paul’s Drag Race to the UK – and wants Katie Price on it.

Michelle, 46, is a judge on the series, in which female impersonators compete
with one another.

She said Jonathan Ross was helping the bid to launch a British version and
added: “We are working ferociously at making that happen.

“I guarantee – and in my heart of hearts I know – it will happen.

“If they can show Embarrassing Bodies, where people are literally opening
their bodies inside out, there is no reason why people need to be afraid of
drag queens on the telly.”

Michelle, fifth in Celebrity Big Brother’s final last night, knows who she
wants to join her on the panel – and it isn’t her new BFF Katie Hopkins.

The singer said: “She knows nothing about fashion or beauty. But Katie Price,
perhaps.”

The glamour model certainly has relevant experience.

In 2009 she recruited her then husband Alex Reid, her brother and two other
male pals to don female outfits for a book launch.

Michelle, looking back on her time in the house, added that she never wanted
to tan again after raiding Katie P’s stash of liquid sun left her and Katie
H “looking like very sad chestnuts.”

She has heaped praise on Katie P and told her romeo hubby Kieran Hayler at
last night’s wrap party that he’s “got a good bird there”.

But Michelle admitted having mixed feelings over Katie P’s show triumph.

She said: “We were all kind of gutted, Calum (Best), myself and Katie
Hopkins.

Pricey was the first one to go, ‘Guys, I feel I don’t deserve this. Someone
else who deserves it more should be here’.

“For me to say that she came in ten days late, didn’t do anything and lay down
as she was injured is not slagging her off. It’s the truth and she’s the
first to admit she feels she didn’t earn her salary.

“But I can’t sit back and say I’m p****d off she won as I love her to bits and
find her funny and real.”

Meanwhile, if her UK Drag Race plans stall on the starting line, she wouldn’t
mind presenting CBB spin off Bit On The Side.

She said: “I would never take it away from Rylan (Clark), but if I could do it
with him, absolutely, I would love to. Imagine the fabulousness of that.”
