SPORTS Illustrated beauty Ashley Graham looked sensational as she showed off
her curves in her first ever line of plus-size swimwear.
The size 14 stunner has collaborated with ,
and says women of all sizes should feel confident when baring their bodies
in a bikini.
Speaking to the she said: “I think everyone should wear a bikini and be
comfortable in their skin.
“We are truly in the curvy girl era that celebrates women owning their natural
and curvaceous bodies.”
Urging women to celebrate their curves, she shows off her physique in a number
of James Bond inspired designs.
In one shot she got her va-va voom on wearing a sexy red 50’s style two-piece.
Another saw her flaunting her curves in a black ensemble.
Ashley says she wants women to do what feels right when it comes to their
beachwear.
However she has made sure she has come up with designs which assist women who
may feel self-conscious about certain parts of their physique.
One costume had cut outs which still managed to cover the stomach.
Her 11-piece collection also has a splash of bling – with a one piece which is
covered with 521 Swarovski crystals.
Ashley starred in a campaign in 2015 for swimsuitsforall and said: “I proved
to them that, yes, people want to see a woman my size, and men and women are
really excited about it.”
She was also the first plus sized model to appear on a Sports Illustrated
cover.
After appearing on the magazine she told the “I hope in the next year people will stop saying ‘plus-size,’ and
they’ll just say, ‘She’s a model.’
“I think that the day is coming. There are all kinds of descriptions for
models. My favorite is curvasexalicious. And I taste good.”
She said she used her experience modelling swimsuits as inspiration for the
designs, saying as she has spent so much time posing in them she knows what
works and what doesn’t to look good.

She regularly posts shots of herself on Instagram in bikinis – and isn’t
afraid to flaunt her figure.
Ashley classes herself as a body activist, and says she was encouraged to look
at women like Jennifer Lopez as role models by her mother when she was
growing up.
She told website she gives herself positive affirmations every day: “I say to
myself: You are bold, you are brilliant, and you are beautiful. Today you
will not let other people’s words affect you. You are worthy of greatness!”
