Alex Lloyd
Alex is a senior feature writer for Fab Daily, specialising in stories about women's issues, parenting, relationships and real lives. She started her career in local newspapers in 2002 after winning an apprenticeship with the in a talent competition called The Write Stuff and completed her journalism training at , after a degree in history and politics at the . Alex has gone on to work as a writer and editor for national publications including the Sunday Mirror, Daily Mirror, Sunday People, , Real People, Prima Baby, OK!, , , Woman's Own and Best.
Since joining The Sun in January 2023, Alex has reported on hard-hitting women's issues like honour-based abuse and delivery driver text pests, tested out electric mops, investigated unfair supermarket pricing, attempted (and succeeded!) to pack for a family of four using only airplane under seat hand luggage, and spoken to celebrities including Gail Porter, Big Brother winner Nadia Almada and presenter Anna Richardson. Originally from South Wales, Alex now lives and works in Yorkshire, after stints reporting in Cardiff, New York and London.
