Martin Lipton is The Sun's Chief Sports Reporter and writes about football, rugby, cricket, golf and Olympic sports among others. He has previously worked at The Mirror, Daily Mail and Press Association and has covered seven World Cup Finals and five Olympic Games. He has covered the England football, rugby and cricket teams over three decades plus the world of sports politics - with particular emphasis on Fifa, Uefa, the FA and Premier League for more than 20 years, including sit-down interviews with Sepp Blatter, Gianni Infantino, Michel Platini, Lennart Johansson, Aleksander Ceferin, Greg Dyke, David Triesman, Richard Scudamore, Geoff Thompson and others. A lifelong - and life-damned - Spurs fan, he wrote "White Hart Lane - the Spurs glory years 1899-2017" to mark the club's move to their new home in N17. He has also contributed to a number of other footballing anthologies and is a regular on TV and radio.
