Might Bite: Latest news on Nicky Henderson’s chaser as he heads for Cheltenham Gold Cup

MIGHT BITE has plenty of questions to answer after he trailed in last of the finishers in the King George at Kempton.

Nicky Henderson's chaser was a shadow of the horse who emerged victorious in the race 12 months ago and he has now failed to fire in two starts this season. However, he lines up in today's Gold Cup.

Who is Might Bite?

Might Bite is a ten-year-old thoroughbred racehorse.

He won the RSA Chase at Cheltenham by a nose in a dramatic finish at the Festival in 2017 and then came back in 2018 to finish second in the Gold Cup.

He went on to land the Betway Bowl at the Aintree Festival but has since flopped in both

Might Bite is trained by Nicky Henderson who has been champion National Hunt trainer four times.

He has won many of the Grade 1 prizes on offer over the jumps and is widely regarded as one of the best trainers around.
