Who won the 2018 Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle?

Penhill triumphed in the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle after being backed at 12/1 before the race.

Favourite Sam Spinner got himself into the lead, where he wanted to be, but maybe didn’t push it along early enough and there were far too many with chances going down the straight.

Penhill was given a beautiful ride by Paul Townend, who came down the outside to hold off the late challenge of Supasundae. Another brilliant finish.
