My ex cut all contact with me and now I don’t know where my child is
DEAR DEIDRE: EVEN though I’ve seen scan photos of my baby, my ex-partner now denies having given birth to my child.
We’re both 32 and were in a relationship for a year. We lived together but split shortly before the birth.

Since then, she’s disappeared and she’s blocked me from contacting her. I don’t know where she or my child are living.
I feel like I’m caught in a Stephen King nightmare, trying to prove the existence of my own baby.
The problem is that I’m not on the birth certificate and therefore have no automatic parental responsibility, and the police and social services won’t take my concerns seriously.
