Remind him that as he is your guest, he needs to respect your space.

Clearly explain if he oversteps the mark once more he’ll have to work out alternative accommodation.

You can suggest he concentrates on his marriage – even if that means ending it – before jumping into bed with a new partner.

Recommend he and his wife go to counselling to work through their differences.

So if they do decide to split, they can at least do so with dignity and most importantly in a way that their children aren’t negatively affected.
