I'M SCARED

I am so worried for my older brother’s mental health

DEAR DEIDRE: MY older brother is behaving strangely. I think he’s having some sort of manic episode.

He can’t sleep, hides things around the house and some-times talks really fast, saying weird things.

He has had mental health problems since he took drugs at a party five years ago.

I’m a 17-year-old boy and he’s 23. We both live with my parents.

He was at university, but dropped out because of his issues.

I don’t know what to do. I’m very worried, and a bit scared.
