DEAR DEIDRE: MY son’s asthma is taking over his life and I don’t know where to turn for help.
While most ten-year-old boys are tearing around playing football and wrestling their mates, mine prefers to stay at home on his iPad.
He’s terrified of having an asthma attack after a bad experience last year we think was set off by pollen.
It really scared him and now he avoids doing anything he thinks might spark an attack.

If your son’s asthma is triggered by pollen, it is best to keep windows and doors closed when the pollen count is high.
