Viagra has suddenly stopped working for me and made having sex a disaster
'They’ve stopped working their magic and sex last night was a disaster'
DEAR DEIDRE: USING Viagra has done miracles for my erectile dysfunction for two years so why has it stopped working more recently?
I’m 61 and my wife is 51. We have a great relationship.
We’ve never had children as we met later in life but we have enjoyed a wild sex life.
My wife likes dressing up. We use sex toys and role play to add a bit of spice to our relationship.
I noticed a difference a couple of years ago when sex wasn’t as good for me so I spoke with my GP.
He did some blood tests and he couldn’t find anything physically wrong but suggested I try the little blue pills.

They were great and, as long as we didn’t expect so much spontaneity, our sex life improved.
But recently they’ve stopped working their magic and sex last night was a disaster.

DEIDRE SAYS: If some-thing has changed for you sexually, you certainly need to see your GP again to ensure that there’s not a medical condition being an underlying cause.
That said, in rare cases, Viagra can stop delivering the same effects with prolonged use. It may also be down to the fact that you now need a higher dose. Again, talk to your GP.
Talk to your wife about your concerns and she should be able to support you and reassure you.
My support pack Great Sex At Any Age may help you too.
