I get close to climaxing during sex and never make it all the way
DEAR DEIDRE: WHENEVER I have sex, I can feel myself approaching climax, but never manage to get there.
It makes no difference who my partner is, and it’s so frustrating .
This has been an issue for years. I’m a 39-year-old guy and I want to sort it out so I can have a fulfilling sex life.
I’ve tried to have sex with different-looking women and nothing has made any difference.
But I have no issue reaching orgasm and ejaculating when I’m on my own.
This isn’t something I can talk to anyone about. I feel I’m missing out on something most people take for granted.

Perhaps there’s something psychological making you hold back.
Were you brought up to view sex as wrong or dirty? Maybe you’re scared of intimacy.
