DEAR DEIDRE: I AM living with my nan because it’s nearer my friends and college, but my mum wants me to go back home.

When I refuse she turns spiteful.

I am 17 and studying at college. I am really happy at my grandma’s because it’s just the two of us and we get on well. Mum suffers from depression and anxiety and life with her is always a rollercoaster.

She keeps ringing me asking when I am coming home. I told her I do not want to go home. Now she says she will never speak to me again. Nan can’t get involved because Mum’s her daughter.

The G spot, supposed source of intense sexual pleasure for some women, was named after Grafenberg, a German gynaecologist in the 1950s, but seems to go in and out of fashion with sex experts.

DEIDRE SAYS: Your mum probably feels defensive about you preferring to live with her mother.

Be firm that you’re staying put – add up all the hours it saves you being nearer friends and college.

Arrange to spend a weekend at home regularly, so your mum doesn’t feel shut out. My leaflet on Standing Up For Yourself will help you stay calm but be assertive.
