My boyfriend has been arrested after he gave me an STI as I am only 14 — but I’m not going to be a victim

Police are telling me I was a victim but I don’t feel like one.

We have been together for six months and have sex regularly.

My mum got worried one night when I was round his house late, so she phoned the police. They say I need counselling.

I had to go to hospital to get examined and he has given me a sexual infection.

I don’t think I need counselling but I am fed up he gave me an STI.
