Hilarious moment a bridesmaid’s boyfriend jumps a fence and runs away after she catches the bouquet
IT’S PROBABLY not the response one bridesmaid expected when she caught the bouquet at her friend’s wedding.
But the hilarious reaction of her boyfriend – who proceeded to jump a fence and run away to his car – was captured on camera and has now gone viral online.
Haley Marie Skipworth, 20, was a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding recently, and took boyfriend-of-five-years Nathan Jordan as her plus one.
In a video – which has now been viewed more than 11 million times – she is seen catching the bridal bouquet at the reception.
Tradition has it that an unmarried woman who catches the bride’s bouquet when she tosses it in the air will be the next to marry.
Just seconds later, the clip shows her boyfriend legging it past her, before jumping a fence and running through a car park.
Nathan’s girlfriend – who looks delighted to have caught the bouquet – is alerted to him sprinting away by other laughing members of the bridal party.
Her other half is seen jumping into his white truck and starting to drive away.
However, suggesting that his quick escape from the event was in jest, Haley shared the video to Facebook.
She jokingly captioned it: “Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”
Additionally, Haley shared a loved-up picture of the couple from the wedding – showing Nathan kissing her.
It comes after a “cringing” man was caught on camera having a hilarious reaction after his long-term girlfriend caught the bride’s bouquet at another wedding.
In a now-viral video from the nuptials in Ohio, rather than look delighted by the fact his partner has caught the bouquet, the boyfriend looks rather horrified.
Unfortunately for the wedding guest, the camera then zooms in and catches him visibly shaking his head.

And an influencer’s huge diamond ring has been branded “fake” and “tacky” by wedding shamers.
