HE may be the future King of England - but yesterday, Prince George looked like any other ordinary six-year-old as he cheered on his favourite football team.

The Cambridge family were spotted among crowds of Aston Villa fans at yesterday's match against Norwich - and Prince George could hardly contain his excitement over his team's 4-0 victory.

The third-in-line to the throne was pictured happily jumping for joy and yelling as his parents - who were also finding his reaction hilarious - tried to calm him down while Princess Charlotte watched from the wings.

The short clip shows Kate leaning over to share in her son's joy while Prince William puts a loving hand on his son's shoulder to stop him from jumping out his seat.

The sweet footage has since been shared on the where fans gushed over "adorable" George and praised Kate and William for their parenting approach.

Gushing over Kate's relaxed manner, one fan replied: "Cuteness overload! And look how happy Kate looks with his happiness. That's me with my kiddos."

Another added: "Just an ordinary, loving, excited family. Love it."

"Prince George is just so cute," a third wrote. "Good to see the family having a day out and having fun, just like a normal family."

Praising George's "great parents", another joked: "Cuteness overload!"

What's more, other devoted fans tried to make out what Prince William was saying to his son as he put his hand on his shoulder.

"I was lip reading Prince William saying 'calm down George'," one replied.

But this isn't the first time Kate and William have been praised by fans for their relaxed approach to parenting.

In August, the Duchess of Cambridge was praised by mums for her "fantastic" response to cheeky Princess Charlotte sticking her tongue out at crowds at a charity regatta.

In the adorable video, Kate encouraged her four-year-old tot to wave at onlookers in Cowes, Isle of Wight – but the princess had other ideas and poked her tongue out instead.

The video, uploaded by , included the caption: “Just when you thought it couldn't get any cuter than the Princess wave. Kate's reaction is absolutely priceless.”

As Princess Charlotte cheekily put her tongue out, Kate appeared to erupt into laughter – like many well-wishers.

Many amused parents were quick to gush over the clip, with one saying: “Just a normal child! You can’t control their every move. Kate's response was fantastic!”
