Engaged wedding guest slammed for wearing white to pal’s wedding – and posing as if SHE’S the bride
A WOMAN decided to wear a white frock to her friend’s wedding – then posed as the bride with her fiancé.
The engaged woman broke the ultimate wedding etiquette – don’t wear white.
She shared a snap of herself wearing a floor-length white dress with floaty sleeves, standing next to her fiancé.
The woman acknowledged that they looked like the bride and groom – as she uploaded a photo to social media captioned: “Not our wedding.”
Their photo ended up on , after a friend was outraged by her outfit choice.
They raged: “The fact that the (engaged) woman in the photo captioned it ‘not their wedding’ shows she’s self aware about wearing white to a wedding, but chose to do so anyway.”
The photo has racked up dozens of comments as people slammed the guest as “disrespectful”.
One person said: “I think, if one of my friends is so disrespectful to put a white dress on my wedding I will ask her to leave or don’t appear in the pictures.
“Like what is the f****** excuse to be so selfish to wear white dude.”
Another wrote: “This is so disrespectful but dress is super cute.”
A third commented: “I hope the bride goes to that friend’s party using not just a white dress also but a white dress that really looks like a wedding one.
“That’s what I would do in her shoes.”
And this person wrote: “Because it takes away from the bride.
“Only the bride should be in white unless they specifically ask people to wear white.”
