I’m sexually fluid with my girlfriend AND boyfriend… but my man does get jealous
A WOMAN who’s in an open relationship with her ‘husband’ says she has the best of both worlds by having a girlfriend on the side.
Darrien Leathers, 23, met Ryan Meyers, 27, on a dating app – which she had initially joined to meet girls.

But she spotted Ryan’s profile before changing her preferences, and when the pair met up it was love at first sight.
After meeting last September, Darrien, a meditation guide, said: “We fell in love right away.
"On our first night together, I told him that I had just got out of a relationship with a couple and that I didn't want to limit myself to a relationship with just one person.
"Love is limitless and we don't have to put a lock on love.

"He told me that he was also fluid and he had an attraction to both sexes.
"We decided to be in an open relationship and that we were going to see each other and other people too."
The couple, from California, claim that monogamy is too rigid, calling their relationship “sexually fluid”.
Ryan, a music producer, said: "A monogamous relationship can sometimes feel like I'm taking my love and shining it like a flashlight on one person.

"In a sexually fluid relationship, your love is like a sun and it radiates in all directions."
They moved in with each other after a fortnight, and two months later they had a ceremony and declared themselves ‘spiritually married’, both changing their last name to Seqqoa.
But in July this year Darrien began chatting to a girl she’d met the year before on Tinder – who also has a boyfriend.
Beth Sanchez, 20, is also in an open relationship, but she and Darrien began ‘nurturing their female bond’ together.

Despite them all being ‘fluid’ and open sexually, Ryan admitted he was jealous of Beth.
He said: “At first I was a little hesitant about Beth.
"But once I met Beth I knew it was a genuine thing.
“It's all love and I can feel the love and it's great to just get more and more love.
"I can feel jealous but I have to remember that it's a free and open love.”

He added that he “doesn’t have time” to date other people right now, but hopes to become a ‘throuple’ with another couple one day.
Ryan said: "I don't have the time right now to be doing extra dating outside of the relationship.
"I'm just going with the flow and whatever is meant to be, will be.
"It's not something I'm pushing or forcing at all."
Despite Ryan’s reservations, Darrien says the arrangement works out for her.
She said: “I get to enjoy the best of both worlds.

"I get to have someone who is so very different from my significant other.
"They are night and day.
"Darrien has such a positive energy and a spiritual side whereas my significant other is very business-oriented and logistical.
"There are two parts of me that feel completed.
"It's possible to love more than one person.
"Love is something that can be spread rather than just contained to one person.";
