WED THE HELL

Couple’s Target-themed wedding photos are branded a ‘cringe fest’ as the groom rides in a trolley and hides in a fridge

PICKING your dream venue is arguably the most important part of the whole wedding planning process - after all, it sets the tone of the day.

That said, it should be a place both you and your partner best reflects you - and what better way to express your love for one another than staging a wedding photoshoot in your local branch of Target?

That's exactly what one pair of American newlyweds have done to celebrate their big day.

Because nothing says love quite like discount toys and Target's (surprisingly stylish) purse-friendly clothing range.

Posing for a romantic kiss outside a Target superstore, the couple also ventured inside after closing time to have some, erm, quirky photos taken dressed in their finest.

The anonymous bride and groom joked about with the brand's bouquets of flowers, hid in fridges and even rode around the store in a trolley as part of their wedding photoshoot.

After proudly sharing the photos on Facebook, it wasn't long until they were posted in a wedding shaming group - where other users labelled the whole thing a "cringe fest".

One replied: "God I hate everything about this."

Another added: "Just an absolute horror show. Did they get engaged there? Christ in heaven."

Meanwhile, others speculated whether the bride and groom worked at Target.

"I don't care if I won a million dollars at my job," another wrote. "I will NEVER celebrate work at a wedding."

However, others couldn't help but wonder if the bride's heart-shaped engagement ring came from the superstore.

Fortunately, not everyone was so critical - and one even made a mental note for their own big day.

They wrote: "I don't hate it. My love for Target runs deep."

And this Don't Tell the Bride groom was branded the "worst ever" after he arranged a ceremony in a CAVE and her furious family refused to attend.

Plus this bride's mum wore a white satin dress to her wedding and been accused to trying to steal attention from her daughter.
