Thrifty bride-to-be makes her own buttonholes for just £2 each by using IKEA flowers

A THRIFTY bride has revealed how she saved money making her own button holes for just £2 using faux flowers from Ikea.

Taking to the Facebook page Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK, run by money saving mum Holly Smith, she shared a snap of the chic floral arrangements.

And fellow members were seriously impressed, praising her handiwork in the comments.

One wrote: “I think you are very clever as they look beautiful well done, I couldn't have done that.”

“And they can be kept forever...lovely” agreed another.

While a third wrote: “They are so pretty. Have the most amazing day.”

The bride later thanked everyone for their kind comments, adding: “Picked up the idea because on a budget and can’t justify paying someone else to do something as simple as this.
