Our partners have NEVER seen us without make-up until now – we even sleep in a full face of slap
MANY women fear going make-up free when they start a new relationship - but these women still aren't comfortable showing off their natural beauty.
Their partners have never seen them without make-up, and they even pile on the slap after a shower or before bed.
They're far from alone, withfinding one in 20 blokes have never seen their girlfriend fresh faced .
But now they've stripped back for a Fabulous Digital photoshoot, to show their other halves what lies underneath...
I'll wear a full face of slap when I give birth in 3 months
Terri Wilkins, 31, from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, says her man Ronald James, 37, an electrician, is desperate for her to ditch the false lashes and thick foundation for a more natural look.
But the admin assistant is determined he'll never see her without make-up - even when she gives birth to their first child in just three months...
I started wearing make-up when I was 13. I’d sneak out of the house before school and apply foundation, eye shadow, mascara and blush I’d bought with my pocket money.
I loved the way it made me feel more mature and grown up.
I'd often got sent home from school for wearing make-up and my parents pleaded with me, saying I looked better without it.
But I refused to listen. Like me, all my friends were make-up crazy and I didn't have a lot of body confidence.
Make-up has always been a way of protecting myself from being bullied.
If my face looked perfect, I thought people wouldn't look at my body. A full glam face makes me feel strong and powerful.
When I'm in a relationship, I wear make-up 24 hours-a-day.
I have a full make-up kit in my hospital bag and have booked in for a tan, facial, eyebrow wax and lash extensions two weeks before our baby's due
Terri Wilkins
I met Ronnie through mutual friends in August last year and we got engaged three months later, but he's never seen me without my slap.
After shower at night, I apply a light base, eye shadow, eyeliner, blush and mascara - and sleep in it.
In the morning, I set a 5am alarm to sneak out and clean my face. Then, I spend an hour applying a full glam face before Ronnie wakes up.
I wouldn't be seen dead without my make-up on - I even stash kits in the car and at work, in case I'm caught out.
Ronnie and I can't wait to become parents. I have a full make-up kit in my hospital bag and have booked in for a tan, facial, eyebrow wax and lash extensions two weeks before our baby's due.
I want to look my best when I meet our child. But Ronnie tells me I'm silly and moans that I leave make-up on the pillows.

Having my make-up stripped off was daunting, I've never felt more naked.
I'm so used to wearing make-up, I'd almost forgotten what my face looked like without it.
I hope Ronnie will like it, but this won't stop me being totally glammed when I give birth. I need the courage to push, and make-up will do that for me.
Ronnie says...
I think Terri is beautiful with or without make-up.
I have begged her not to wear make-up to bed.
She looks amazing in her full glam face but I know she's a natural beauty, and she should be proud to share that with the world.
I spend £5k a year on make-up and get it professionally done 4 times-a-week
Apolliana Llewellyn, 20, spends a staggering £5,000-a-year on make-up and gets it professionally done four times-a-week.
The online fashion shop owner, from Barnsley, South Yorks, wants to look perfect for her partner of five years Billy Mole, 21, a glazier.
I started wearing make-up when I was 14.
Every day after school, my friends and I would head to Boots to try the latest samples and I'd beg my family to give me palettes for Christmas.
Around the same time, I started doing pageants, where I learned how to apply heavy stage make-up.
I was bullied at school for being a beauty queen, but my make-up made me feel strong enough to ignore the taunts.
When I was 15, I moved schools and met Billy, then 16. We started dating a month later, he was my first ever boyfriend.
After a year, he moved into my parents' house - but he's still never seen me without base, mascara, blush and shaded brows.
I'll keep my professional make-up on for 24 hours, before she comes to see me again
Apolliana Llewellyn
It's important I'm perfectly made up, not just for my own self-esteem but for Billy, too.
Every week, I spend £100 on the latest products from MAC, Morphe and Estee Lauder.
My cupboards are overflowing with palettes, creams and cleansers.
Four times-a-week, I pay a professional to do me a full glam look, with contouring and false lashes. It costs £150 but is worth it.
I'll keep that on for 24 hours, before she comes to see me again. On the days I don't see her, I get up at 6am to do my make-up before Billy wakes.
I even wear make-up to bed, it makes me feel sexy. Billy begs me to take my make-up off but I refuse.
My mum doesn't wear any slap and tells me I'm ridiculous fussing over lipstick 24 hours-a-day.
But I love the confidence make-up gives me, I think of it as an investment.
I'm lucky to have Billy as my partner and don't want to ruin things by not looking good.
Having my make-up stripped away was one of the scariest things I have ever done, I was trembling with fear.
But when I saw my pictures I was surprised, and realised Billy might be right about me spending too much on make-up.
Make-up is still important to me, but a fresh face could be good on certain occasions.
Billy says...
Apolliana is the most beautiful girl I have ever known.
I tell her she doesn't need to spend all that money on cosmetics.
She looks stunning with it on, but I think she just needs to get used to going natural.
I may hide her make-up for a week and see what happens...
I'd never not wear make-up - I can't understand why other women don't make more effort
Care assistant Zara Shafiq, 23, from Henley, Oxfordshire, spends £80-a-week on make-up.
Her partner of five years, personal trainer Ernesto Hernandez, 26, has still never seen her without make-up.
I started wearing make-up when I was 14. I loved watching my older cousins and aunts apply it, and would practise on my friends.
For me, it's always been a confidence shield. I spend £80-a-week on the latest products and spend hours surfing the web, watching Instagram tutorials.
I spend at least 20 minutes-a-day on my brows and base my look on the Kardashians.
I met Ernesto five years ago and always make sure I'm wearing false lashes and contour, even when we go for a walk in the park or to wash the car.
He complains about the time I take to get ready, I'll spend two hours getting my face perfect, but he loves my look.
Sometimes I see women out with their boyfriends not wearing make-up, and I can't understand why they don't make the effort
Zara Schaffer
In the morning, I spend an hour doing my make-up before Ernesto wakes up.
I don't believe you can ever have enough highlighter, contour or lipstick - and have a make-up bag with me at all times.
I also have regular facials and beauty treatments.
The thought of Ernesto seeing my naked face is horrifying. My make-up is my beauty shield.
Sometimes I see women out with their boyfriends not wearing make-up, and I can't understand why they don't make the effort.
I'm training to be a make-up artist and Ernesto is always recommending me to people at his gym. He's proud of the effort I make.
The thought of taking my make-up off in such a public way was terrifying, I was scared I would look weird.
But I liked the pictures, they helped me see myself in a different way.
I won't be changing the way I do my make-up, but I'm glad I did the challenge.
It taught me to feel confident in my own skin, although I was constantly fighting the urge to grab some lippy.
Ernesto says...
Zara is absolutely stunning. She takes pride in her appearance and I know make-up makes her feel stunning.
She is my queen and I love the fact she wants to use her skills to start a business.
As a personal trainer, I work out to feel good for myself and Zara, and she uses make-up to do the same thing.
