Thrifty woman melts down leftover Yankee Candle and pours it into ice cube mould to make budget wax melts

Instead of chucking the jar away or trying to hack out the last bits with a knife, she melts the leftovers using hot water, and then pours it into ice cube trays.

When the wax hardens, she’s left with divine smelling wax melts.

She shared a snap of her handiwork to Facebook group, , revealing she chose a heart-shaped mould for this batch.

She said: “Not a bargain but more a money saving tip. No candles go to waste in my house.

This is genius
