Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star Abigail Spencer posts selfie after hiking with the Duchess and Prince Harry in Canada
MEGHAN Markle’s former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer posted a selfie of herself hiking in Canada as she spent the holidays with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The 38-year-old shared a snap from the woods in Vancouver Island's Horth Hill Regional Park, where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are staying with baby Archie.
Abigail, who played Sottie in the legal drama opposite Meghan, uploaded a photo to , accompanied with a quote by English poet, William Wordsowrth.
She said: “Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher. William Wordsworth. #2020.”
The actress also shared another snap from the woods, showing the sunlight glinting through the trees.
Abigail is said to be one of Meghan’s, 38, closest friends, and was invited to her wedding to Prince Harry, 35, as well as the Duchess’ star-studded baby shower in New York.
The trio are thought to have come to the rescue of a couple also hiking through the woods earlier this week, who were struggling to take a photo using a selfie stick.
Iliya Pavlovic and Asymina Kantorowicz were taking a walk through the forest when they were approached by a group, with Asymina, a producer for CTV News, recognising Abigail.
Asymina told the station she thought Abigail looked familiar, and only then did she clock Meghan and Prince Harry.
The hiker said the mum-of-one offered to take their photo for them, with Asymina calling the Duchess "super friendly."
After recognising the royals, Asymina said: "In that moment the only thing I could think to say, 'There's only so much that selfie sticks can do.'
"She laughed and responded with something like, 'We'll have to do better,' and then Harry said, 'No pressure.'"
According to Asymina, the couples then wished each other "Happy New Year."
Prince Harry and Meghan turned down the offer to spend Christmas with the Queen and other senior royals in Sandringham.
Instead it’s believed they spent the holidays with Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland, before renting the $14.1 million waterfront mansion on Vancouver Island.
Meghan's mother is also thought to have joined the couple in Canada, according to reports.
