Stacey Solomon pens emotional post about seven-month-old baby Rex and says ‘I wish I could stop the clock’
WHETHER she's sharing the contents of her latest Primark haul or hanging out with bestie Mrs Hinch, we've always considered Stacey Solomon to be a woman after our own hearts.
Last year, the mum-of-three welcomed her first child with boyfriend Joe Swash - and the star has now opened up about how she wishes she could "stop the clock" and cherish every second of baby Rex's childhood.
Sharing adorable new pictures of the seven-month-old with her 2.7m followers, Stacey wrote: "It just feels like time is flying by faster than ever before.
"I was playing with him on his mat and all of a sudden he just rolled around and ended up like this."
In the two new photos his proud mum shared on Instagram, Rex is pictured happily sitting up by himself and playing with toys on the living room floor in the couple's new Essex home.
The emotional mum continued: "He's started shuffling around, singing and saying 'Dadda' which is all so wonderful and exciting but I cant help but feel that I wish I could stop the clock for a little while and just make it all last longer.
"I'm an emotional wreck at the moment, pretty sure Aunt Flo is on her way but nevertheless can't they all just stay babies for a little longer please??"
Referencing how she spent the weekend tidying her kitchen cupboards, Stacey added: "On the upside, my snack cupboard is tidy so I can't really complain."
Last week, the star also revealed that she'd been forced to stay up until midnight making a Stonehenge out of cookies for her 11-year-old son Zachary.
Stacey regularly entertains fans with her down-to-earth family life, and even showed off her newly-renovated kitchen this month.
Stacey and partner Joe have been dating since early 2016 - and while they initially kept their romance secret, have since had no issue sharing their love for one another.
On Valentine's Day last year, the pair prompted speculation that they had got engaged after Joe shared a sweet snap of the Loose Women star in bed with her left hand hidden.
