Bridesmaids given strict checklist by bridezilla including ordering her a wedding gift

A BRIDEZILLA has given her bridal party a list of instructions for how to fulfil their role - including to remember to order her a wedding present.

The anonymous bride posted online the checklist which she had added to a "proposal" box when asking friends to be bridesmaids at her wedding.

Writing on Facebook, she shared pictures of the contents of the gift she had put together for each of them.

She wrote: "Just wanted to share my bridesmaid proposal boxes with you guys since I'm always curious to see what everyone else out in theirs!"

This included lipstick, shot glasses, a mini vodka bottle and a "bride squad" top.

However, it was one item in particular that caught the attention of a member of group .

The bride had compiled a 'Bridesmaid Duties In Detail' checklist which included the standard "help with pre-wedding tasks" and "attend the ceremony rehearsal".

However, it also included a note to "purchase a wedding gift", beneath which were directions to "talk to the other bridesmaids about pitching in for a joint wedding gift".

The woman, called Emily, who shared screenshots of the bride's handiwork, wrote: "Yikes. The boxes are cute but the list of duties telling them to buy the bride a gift is rough."

Her post received more than 130 'likes' and over 300 comments from fellow members who were equally shocked.

A third shared: "The wedding party is exempt from the typical gift expectation because their part in the wedding is the gift."

And a fourth added: "I would say no. I can't afford to be her bridesmaid."
